Decriminalize Sex Work (DSW) is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit, founded on June 22, 2018. DSW works to improve public attitudes toward sex work and the decriminalization of prostitution through public education, policy research, and outreach.

The Campaign to Decriminalize Sex Work (CDSW) is the lobbying branch of the organization, focusing most of its resources on lobbying state legislatures to change laws. This branch of the organization, classified as a 501(c)(4), was founded on December 21, 2018.

DSW and CDSW operate collaboratively to fight human trafficking and promote the health and safety of communities across the nation. Both branches of this organization are intended to supplement — not supplant — the good work that so many organizations have been doing for years to decriminalize sex work in the United States.
